Do you live or work in Huddersfield? Could you offer 2 hours a week or more to help support a young person who might be at risk of offending or who has experienced exploitation and trauma? Yorkshire Mentoring are looking to recruit & train to people with a local connection to Huddersfield to become a part of our Reach Out Mentoring Project and a new project working with young people who have experienced trauma and exploitation. We are particular keen to recruit more males to our existing team of excellent local mentors, and those who can offer a young person a positive role model and introduce them to new experiences & opportunities. All mentors will receive free training via our mandatory training sessions and will continue to be offered on going training in related fields with continued support & supervision.
